No Space for Survival
Just over 4 weeks ago I met three people sleeping rough in a Berkshire town. I found myself back on the same street today and this is the same spot…
We live in a world where so much of what we see is designed to keep us distracted rather than informed. Stories break, mutate and vanish before they can be understood. We have forgotten to take the time to understand what is really happening to the world and the people around us. Context has been replaced by urgency and reaction has become more valued than understanding. What I See is an attempt to step beyond that noise and identify those quieter impacts, then give them a space and a voice to be heard. Our reporting aims to witness what is actually happening at a human level, to take the time to sit with it for longer, and to document from a place that values clarity over clicks.

Earlier this week I was invited by a friend to help her capture some photos of her art class. This wasn’t your average village hall group drawing bowls of apples and bananas however…
I’m not going to give much narration to the photos taken today at a peaceful protest in central London. I honestly don’t think that I need to, I’m sure the images speak for themselves…
